Emily Theophilou is a postdoctoral researcher who has collaborated with the BiConnect Lab during the COURAGE project. She holds a BSc in Multimedia Computing from Coventry University and an MSc in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Emily completed her PhD with the Interactive and Distributed Technologies for Education (TIDE) Group at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, UPF, Barcelona, focusing on educational technologies and digital literacy. Her research specifically explored computer-supported mechanisms to enhance affective skills in social media education.
