My research focuses on how social factors shape imitative behaviors during early childhood, exploring how characteristics such as previous social interactions or group membership influence children’s social learning processes.
Alongside this, I have developed a strong interest in technology and innovation, investigating how digital tools and artificial intelligence can foster or transform learning and interaction. Rooted in my work on early social development, I am particularly interested in the continuity between early social learning mechanisms and the emerging dynamics of human–AI interaction, examining how AI systems can act as learning partners, support educational contexts, and influence users’ perceptions and behaviors.
I have collaborated on multidisciplinary research projects evaluating technological systems for learning and rehabilitation, aiming to apply insights from developmental psychology to support learning, care, and overall well-being.
