Riccardo Chimisso
I am a Master’s student in Computer Science and in Astrophysics at the University of Milan-Bicocca, after a BSc in Computer Science from the same institution. My research focuses on human-aligned computer vision and XR. It began with the Algonauts Challenge 2023, continued with a publication I presented at the Human-Inspired Computer Vision Workshop at ECCV 2024, and now investigates how fMRI can inform human-centric XR techniques. Before this, I worked as a full-stack developer at Lynx S.p.A., where I also mentored new hires. I am one of only 20 (per year) recipients nationwide of the “Scuola Ortogonale” STEM scholarship. I participated in CMMRS 2025, and I’m passionate about quantum computing.
